A lovely, quiet, pristine place, these gardens are a must see for lovers of flowers, botanists and/or photographers alike! Take some time (we want as part of a wider tour) and 'drink in' the atmosphere of the idyllic surrounds and let the gentle dappled sunshine smooth away all the rat race issues.

The gardens are really beautiful and the orchids are magnificent, however could be a little more TLC around the forest walks, and it would be nice to have some signage explaining the multitude of orchid types.

All in all great value for money and a must see for all.

Raymond would be very happy to see his legacy maintained.

We visted on Good Friday , it was raining the place is on a unmade road but travel at a safe speed if driving your self & you should be ok.
We were given umberellas free use, entry is $45.00 fjd for a family ticket.
Assorted plants & flowers along gravel & timber pathways, wheel chair access down to the water feature would be accessible with assistance. The rest of the pathways climb up a steady incline which is manageable for the unfit. Couldnt access some of the pathways as they were closed.

A real highlight of our Fiji trip, garden was amazing even despite the rain (umbrella provided). Great guide - Miriam.

2000 orchids, millions of other plants, pine apples, bananas, beautiful setting. Smells like in heaven! And the entire surrounding is so fairy-tale like! It is a half an hour walk through the rain forest, where you can enjoy not only orchids, but many other beautiful flowers. There are amazing ginger flowers. There is this Sleeping Giant mountain as a background for the entire garden. If you have time (and strength) go for a longer stroll through the forest - you will discover quiet and beautiful places where there are no people. If it is not for mosquitos, that would be the best place for contemplation. It is very humid there, so it is good to have plenty of water with you.
