The hotel was a little understaffed, which seems to be a problem everywhere in the city, maybe because of New Year. Besides, the soft drink vending machine was always empty and was not refilled during my stay.

The staff was very nice and helpfull. The room was very comfortable and clean and the location - 1block far from the beach - awesome, with some good restaurants and a shopping mall within a walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a 3-star one.

Room Tip: Choose the ones facing the street/ Escolha os de frente para a rua.

Very well located in area with some good restaurants, One block from the beach where you can make very relaxing long walks. The Hotel charges 12 dollars a day for use the garage which I find to be very expensive but WiFi is pretty good and free. About the garage, it is an ordeal for any cara that is not small. Personnle is very friendly but Services are not good (the hotel - as the rest of Montevideu for that matter- is WAY under-staffed. The hotel has one VERY slow elevator wich is not nearly sufficient, YOu may have to wait for an elevator for quite a while. Mantainance is also not a good point, the bathroom ceiling had large mold stains.

Room Tip: The best rooms are from the 7th floor up and facing the street

This was my 3rd stay at this hotel. Previous ones were a few years ago when it opened. Prices increased over the years but it is still a good deal (no much room for increase though as there are many more options now). Location is great, just one block away from the Rambla (sea side walk). It is also a short walk to main roads with public transportation and a wide set of services (money exchange, hairdresser, shoe repair, mini market, etc). Apartments are quite new and well equipped so this is ideal for people who want to feel at home. Breakfast was great and in the summertime you can have it by the patio, which was very nice. We didn't use them but there was also a solarium, gym and business center. It has parking by paying an extra fee. The only thing I didn't like much is that the elevator is either too slow or not sufficient for some many rooms, but not a big deal if you are on vacation. I'd recommend it to others and come back again

I stayed at the Punta Trouville recently and was very happy. The neighborhood is exceptional and the hotel is located on a quiet street just steps from a beautiful sand and grass public beach. It's an easy and cheap cab fare to the main tourist areas4. The staff was very4 friendly and ond (Gustavo) spoke excellent English. Breakfast was included and as good as any i had in South America this trip. My room was fair. Neither the best or the worst. Still it had a kitchenette. My only real complaint was the lack of readily accessible outlets. They were in the rokm but behind the bed.

We stayed 7 days in this hotel.
We've choose it because it has kitchen facilities in the room.
It is very well located - one block from the beach avenue, near to small food stores, to bus stops.
It is not a new building, but it is reasonable.
The furniture is outdated, but, in the other hand , the staff was very helpful and friendly.
The room has a good size.
The bathroom is OK, besides the plastic courtain in the shower.
It has a fridge, hot plate to cook, microwave, pans, dishes, etc.
The cleaning was perfect.
We had our breakfast in our room, so I do not know how is the hotel's breakfast.
Certainly we will return.
We went around by bus, (bus stops very near) and walked a lot, and had our meals the way we like.

Room Tip: Our room was in the back at 10th floor - no noise.
