Great honeymoon hotel

A beautiful and serene hotel. Food was great and people were extremely nice. Our only regret was not staying longer or using the pool. a great location too that you think may have noise of streets, but we hear nothing but nature and saw the stars.

I had the most beautiful casita, which was incredibly spacious. I loved this hotel and had been dreaming of visiting and exploring the Sacred Valley again since I went in my 20s backpacking. The staff, the views, the horses, the food and service were 10/10. I also loved my half day visit to meet the children at the Sol Y Luna Foundation- what a fantastic project with a big heart. I wish I had more time to spend exploring and meeting more of the wonderful people living in this amazing part of Peru.

Where to begin! We stayed here for 3 nights and we wished we stayed longer. Staff was friendly and professional.

Everyone from the front desk, restaurant, spa and even the gardeners were friendly and greeted you with a smile. The property is absolutely stunning! The casitas are set beautifully in the valley, surrounded by well maintained greenery.

We had drinks in the bar before dinner one night and Juan Carlos was awesome! He was super knowledgeable about the cocktails they offered and the different kinds of both Peruvian and imported liquors. We actually cancelled the dinner reservations that we had elsewhere so that we could dine in the Killa Wasi restaurant again for dinner.

Paul was our server for breakfast/dinner and he was great! He was professional and personable. Both Paul and Juan Carlos are definitely assets to this property and they made our experience there extremely enjoyable!

The restaurant staff works together to ensure you have everything you need, and we were never left waiting or wanting for anything.

We dined elsewhere on our last night and we remarked amongst ourselves that we should have just dined at Killa Wasi again.

Breakfast was fabulous, with a variety of options to chose from. Service was prompt and efficient.

We visited the spa after a long day of excursions. The massage was amazing. The music, not so much. Seemed to be the same song on a loop. I would have preferred silence over the looped music but it did not change the quality of the massage. Unfortunately, I did not get my masseuse’s name. It was one of the best massages I have had and I would have liked to have been able to mention her by name. She had great technique and checked in with me more than once to ensure the pressure was good and that I was content.

In short, we loved this property!

Staff was incredibly attentive, food was delicious and Juan Carlos made us feel like family.
The property is gorgeous, almost surreal and our room was beautiful and clean. We were adjusting to the altitude so we didn’t take advantage of many of the amenities but the entire staff took great care of us!
I will definitely return!!

Beautiful landscape and friendly staff. Great service and grata restaurant. Our Casita was a little tough to share for the whole family with one small bathroom. The loft was extremely noise so any movement from the kids in the loft awoke the whole family.

Dear Mr Charles,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and we are sorry to hear you found your room to be small. The feedback from families using our family casitas is usually very good but we understand it might not be the ideal setup for everyone. Do not hesitate to share your comments with your travel agency who made the booking too.

Thank you also for mentioning our staff and level of service as it what makes the difference here at Sol y Luna.

We wish you all the best and hope you also enjoyed the rest of your trip in Peru.
