This was an overnight stop en route to Machu Pichu. What an incredible place but you need the time to relax and enjoy the rooms and facilities. Incredible rooms and every conceivable facility that we simply did not have time to investigate and enjoy. Hopefully the photos will start to give a clue as to what it might offer you.

We are lucky to have stayed in 5 star hotels all across the globe. Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel is our new favourite. From the beautiful hacienda with its courtyards, terraces, museum and cinema to the stunning gardens set around the island chapel, everything was perfection. Sitting along side the fast flowing river in the center of the sacred valley with stunning mountains on either side it is cheating a bit with its setting, but the hotel takes what is already beautiful and makes it more so. The spa is pure class, the pool, orchid house and art gallery all lovely. Alpacas maintain the lawns while hummingbirds and parrots play above. You pick your way to breakfast past avocados and papayas that have fallen in the night. I don’t know whether the chef is Michelin started, but they ought to be. Best of all though was the lovely team of people working here. To Julio, Yolanda, Gino, Christina, Efrain, Eric, Jose and everyone else thank you.

Excellent stay,

The whole team is very accommodating and service is great across services - from the restaurant (shout out to Elvis) and to the SPA (Nairuth, Cristina, Margot, Margarita). Great spot to spend a couple of days between Cusco and Machu Picchu.

Beautiful hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is one hour from the train station that takes you to Machu Pichu. The rooms are large and comfortable. Fabulous spa. Great service at the restaurant and bar, good food and drinks. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful hotel in the sacred valley with a spa and pool. Rooms are large. Dining must be done on premises as this hotel is isolated. A local shaman blessed our group here. There are also about 6 shops featuring local merchandise. Excellent food.

This was an amazing location, the staff were all very attentive, especially Gregorio. He served us for breakfast and dinner each day, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the Lomo de Alpaca, it was perfect. Such a wonderful memory.

Room tip: The hot tub isn’t really that hot, but otherwise this place is amazing!
