Alex and Fernando, the owners of the place are exceptional hosts.

They went out of the way when it comes to give you advice about how to go anywhere in Lima by foot or car or public transportation.

The neighborhood where the B&B is located is Barranco, this is an awesome district where you can walk around, go to dance, drink and eat by foot.

The B&B offers a good breakfast, free local calls, free WiFi 24 hours a day, hot shower and rooms with private and shared bathrooms plus TV. If you come by car you can safely park on the street without worries, the neighborhood is very safe.

I will go back for sure there if I go to Lima.

Beautiful traditional peruvian manor house. High ceilings, open spaces, just the right amount of light matcing perfectly the warm earthly colours. A perouvian friend that came to visit said it reminded him of the house of his great grandmother! Warm and familiar. The location is also perfect, a beatiful alley in the heart of barranco.
It is a bit pricey and don't expect any luxuries, but it has everything you need and the vibe of the house is worth it.
This place doesn't feel like home but you would wish your home would feel like this.

The location is perfect, it's nice that you feel a bit like at home since this is a typical old house with not many rooms but if you are a fun of comfortable hotels this is not the right place for you, also the owners have 2 dogs and 1 cat, they wonder around the house and if you are allergic this might be something to think about. Breakfast is rarely available, they say from 7 to 10 but very often there was nothing or no one available, they gave me the entrance key because it seems no one is really there all the time to open the door. However this is a perfect spot in Barranco, a nice old house and if is just for a few days it's a good choice.

If you want a Marriott, this is not the place for you. This is a hostel that is run by a small group of characters. It's more like having a room in a friend's house. I really felt right at home and had a great time. The location is perfect -- right next to the Puente de los Suspiros (the Bridge of Sighs) in Barranco. The Puente has a number of good restaurants and a great view of the Atlantic. If you're there in the summer (Jan.-March), you can walk down to the beach (it's a climb back up, but not difficult). It's easy to get to Miraflores, either by taxi or by combi.

I stayed for 2 nights having found the place right in the centre of Barranco whilst walking around. It's an old traditional single storied building, with wooden ceilings, patterned ceramic tiled floors, subdued strong colours, pavement facing mini courtyards complete with wrought iron railings, paintings and characterful art pieces, comfortable lounges which were complimented by 3 very friendly house dogs and a cat - home from home after 5 months travelling. The breakfast area was open air.

My room was internal, with natural light via roof/ceiling traditional fanlights. The shower and toilet were in an open ceilinged cubicle within the room. No hot water in the basin, but a surprisingly good basic hot water shower. The bed was very basic, but comfortable enough. Linen and towels were old and thin, but clean.

Breakfast was a basic continental with bread & jam + good coffee that made the local Starbucks Americano taste like dishwater.

The owner ran an airport transfer for the reasonable price of 80 soles in a safe modern car driven reasonably !

If you're looking for a spacious, modern, light and wipe down hygiene surfaces place to stay, don't bother staying here - it is what it is, old, frayed around the edges, friendly and full of character .
