This is a good restaurant if you’re in the Barranco district of Lima, however, it is not worth a trip, it not being in the same league as many of Lima’s really good restaurants. The location, while fairly easy to reach by car, is not in a neighbourhood were one would go for a stroll, particularly not at night. The décor and ambiance are contemporary, perhaps minimalist, resulting in something rather cold and impersonal. The services matches that. While competent, it lacks the friendliness, warmth, authenticity that you will find in many of Lima’s fine restaurants.
The menu offers a bit of everything, from meat cuts and fish to risottos, from Peruvian to Italian to Peruvian-Japanese fusion. The food is fresh and good. Among others we had a nice carpaccio and an excellent seafood risotto. The Tuna tartar with blue cheese was an uncommon combination which did not do much for me.
