Flight from Lima to Iquitos was delayed so we arrived for lunch at 2 p.m. I had the wild pork with vegetables and rice. It was more than excellent. My wife had the gator/camen with tapioca root fried. Also excellent. No sauces available except hot green sauce and siriochi sauce.
For salads/Appitizer I had the baked river fish with palm, it was wonderful. Wife had a fish salad photos here
Then they brought out a fruit ice cream over a cut fruit. It was very good. It was orange colored like an avocado texture in bitesized chunks.
