Amazingly romantic

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 12 July 2017via mobile
Amazingly romantic hotel, intimate setting, nice restaurants, impeccable service, perfect location within short walking distance of main square, shops, restaurants.
Part of the hotel is built atop, and features Incan walls/ floors. Some rooms even have extra oxygen pumped into the room to help with high altitude adjustments. Has one of the very few pools in cusco. Don't miss the coco tea.

Our room was on the second floor facing the open area on the first floor. The walls are paper thin. Not only could we hear people talking in the open area, we were also woken up by the lovely sound of a person throwing up a few rooms away and then by the sound of cooks preparing for breakfast. I rely on a hotel for one main thing: sleep! I couldn't successfully do that so I cannot recommend this place. They fell short in a few other areas as well: They only give you a single, child-sized paper thin towel for each person and the wifi is not accessible in all rooms (and it is very slow when you can get it in the common open area).

We spend two nights in Cusco. This hotel has a great location, is located in front of a very nice plaza. The place looked safe and clean. There is a very nice restaurant in the corner of hotel's block.
They gave us a room on the third floor. The room was very basic, big and it had nice view of the city. The second night was a group of young people in the hotel, we thought it will be noisy, but surprisingly our room was quiet and had a good sleep.

This hotel is really well situated and the views from the second and third floors are wonderful.
Breakfast is basic - we were offered eggs once - but there is always coca tea available and water is for sale.
Our first room had no hangers or bathmat, but our room after Inca had both.
Most nights we slept badly due to noisy guests in the lobby and on the stairs and landings. The staff made no effort to keep them quiet.

Room tip: Rooms on higher floors have great views

As peruvian hotels go, this is fine. The breakfast was good, with an extremely enthusiastic waiter, who will prepare, scrambled or fried eggs to order. I asked him for some cold milk, which he duly got for me. The rooms are basic, but the bed was comfy, and our room on the first floor had an excellent view of the cusco rooftops. Laundry service efficient, and a cozy inner courtyard to relax in. Only 2 minutes walk fro Plaza Aramas, and just outside the hotel a very atmospheric little plaza. I enjoyed my time here

Room tip: Rooms probably best away from the inner courtyard

This hotel has a great location, however the open courtyard means that it can be very noisy at times. The rooms are very basic, the wi-fi isn't great (you can only get it near the reception), the breakfast is good and the man who helps with it is lovely. It can be difficult to get a shop for a big bottle of water so stock up well before you come back for the night.
