Incredible and historic hotel in the heart of Cusco

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 8 Aug 2021via mobile
My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children) recently spent 7 days/6 nights at this property. I could not be more happier with the services we were given. Matias at the Concierge was attentive and helped me with my requests even before we arrived. All the staffs at the front desk, door, restaurant were professional, friendly, and courteous. The hotel itself was lovey and amazing. Our room was spacious and clean. We had everything we needed throughout our stay. This was my second time visiting Cusco. I was really glad this time to choose Palacio Del Inka. For sure, we will stay here again whenever our journey takes us back here.

Words can not describe the incredible stay we had at the Palacio Del Inka. The hotel itself is a beautiful piece of history (tours are given!). It's clean and luxurious. The rooms have all the amenities you could need. But the staff makes the hotel so amazing. They have their eye on attention to detail and will take care of whatever you need. Emerson, the concierge, is outstanding. I had a lost bag and he went above and beyond, working to find the bag and eventually picking it up at the airport while I was going on a hiking trip! Carlos and Rene at the front desk will help you with literally anything you need. Prishila in the spa is the sweetest and so helpful! We will definitely be back!

Excellent rooms, spa, service and dining. We had a room in the old part of the hotel. Big beautiful room with two full bathrooms, living room and small balcony that looked over Inca ruins. High ceilings and beautiful old wood floors. The floors make a lot of noise so it is kind of noisy if you get up in the night. We did the wonderful tour of the hotel that was led by Victor. He was great switching between English and Spanish. The tour ended with an Inca shaman performing a powerful song using amazing instruments. We also did the Pisco sour class, Darwin, the bartender was a great instructor. We loved the spa. Fantastic massages and the steam and pool was great. Loved breakfast each morning. We also enjoyed dinner there one night. The kids loved the pizza so went back for more pizza another day.

Excellent luxury hotel in a great location close to the square, the hotel is wonderfully l
Furnished and extremely luxurious.

The rooms are again very luxurious and I would recommend to upgrade to a room with oxygen to be pumped due to the altitude

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The history of the surrounding area is amazing (Marriott always seems to find the hotels with the best locations). The employees and the service here was unmatched.
We had a wonderful time here and wished we could have stayed longer.

Booked through Amex so we got a lovely room upgrade to a junior suite. This hotel is so charming! I love that the walls are full of artwork and exploring the many small plazas and terraces feels like an adventure.

Food: Breakfast was amazing. The croissants were to die for. Also had great happy hour cocktails!

Location: just a little off center of the main square. Still about only 5 minutes. Three monkeys (a great coffee shop) is just up the street. They're currently doing construction on the whole street which is blah but not their fault. Tell them earlier when you're getting in and they'll arrange for someone to come pick you up/get your bags. Otherwise rolling suitcases through the streets of Cusco is a bad time had by everyone lol

Service: Zero complaints. Everyone was wonderful and helpful. The staff are fluent in English.

Covid : you can arrange a covid test with the front desk and they'll have a nurse come to the hotel. Takes about 10 minutes and is an hour for results. Costs 30 dollars.
