My husband and I are currently staying at this hotel and I'm writing this review at 12:45am as the noisy band from the club down the street, the thin walls that let us experience everyone's movements and the rock hard mattress have made it impossible to sleep. I've slept better in youth hostels and expected more from this hotel.

The staff there were very kind and nice, if you need any help about your trip, just ask them, they will offer the best local solutions! The only problem is the water Issue, which is caused by the city. And if they could tell the customers in advance so that they can make more preparations for the coming water problem, that will be lovely!

Room Tip: Nice breakfast and nice service!

This boutique hotel is soon VERY cosy and quaint. Richard is the ultimate host. All the Staff are extremely helpful. When I return to cusco, this is where I would stay.

Wankapunku is located in the heart of the old city, Near to the best restaurants and shopping sites. Remember pace yourself because the altitude is unforgiving.

Stayed in room 1 night only. This hotel is well located, close to the main square and to the Chango night clyb.
Hotel staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, basic but very good. Free wifi in room. They offer free coco tea to help with the altitude. The hotel is right in the heart of historic Cusco, great location. Breakfast was good.

Dear Guest

We want to thank you for taking the time to let us know your impression about the Hotel.
Our staff tries to help as much as they can whenever it is needed. This is one of our strong points at Wakapunku.

As the hotel its a small size business the service is more personalized and the staff is always willing to help.

As you mentioned Plaza de Armas is only 2 blocks from us, and the center of the city has many places that you can visit by walking in a safe and pretty zone of Cusco.
Best regards,

Juan Jose Mendoza
General Manager

Stayed in room 4 for 2 nights. This hotel is two blocks back from the main square in a cobble stoned street. Hotel reception staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The room I had was large with a balcony looking over the street. The room was basic but very good. Comfortable bed, and very clean room. Free wifi in room. They offer free coco tea to help with the altitude. The hotel is right in the heart of historic Cusco, great location. Breakfast was good.
