Great people (thank you for looking after us Giuseppe), unusual history of the building, beautiful rooms - funky showers and bathtubs, great breakfast - the staff at this hotel couldn't do enough for us.
Great location too, just 2 minutes walk off the main square, so close to lots of restaurants and attractions.
I can't rate this hotel highly enough. We loved our stay here.

This hotel is elegant and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Its location is ideal allowing for access at night to the vibrant main square. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the breakfast was delicious. There is a convenient, quick laundry round the corner. From the window of the Business Centre I was able to watch and photograph the colourful procession with many dancers and bands, obviously enjoying what they were doing.

Beautiful hotel, room was fabulous, you definitely need the oxygen available due to the altitude sickness. There is plenty of coca tea on hand to help combat effects of the altitude.
Breakfast excellent, staff extremely courteous.
Local shops offer affordable sight seeing trips to the many many pre Inca and Inca sights
Local restaurants are affordable and offer international cuisine well as Alpaca kebabs and roast Guinea pigs!

The hotel is situated in a good location, convenient to the local squares, shops and restaurants. At check-in, we were spontaneously upgraded to a suite, which I thought night be bigger than a regular room and found it to be quite small. The wifi was reliable both in the guest rooms and the common areas; with nothing to sit on but a bed and a guest chair, this made the plethora of conversational areas outside of the rooms very comfortable and useful. The hotel staff - including Adolfo and Boris, the bartender - were especially friendly and engaging and the food for breakfast, dinner and dessert was delicious. The one thing that I did not like were the bath linens, which were stained (hand towels) and frayed (hand towels and both bathrobes) even after several daily linen changes. While I do not assume I am the first person to use a bathrobe or a hand towel in a hotel, I like to maintain illusion as much as possible. But overall, a very nice experience.

We enjoyed being in a historic home 5 minutes walk from the centrsl plaza of Cusco. Our room was spacious, and very historic, with a jacuzzi tub and elegant shower. At breakfast, we met Adolfo, who gave us lots of local history, and will son be a guide. We wish him well!
