We stayed in this hotel for four nights with our three children in a double room. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a bath tub hot water and heated towel rail. Bathrobes, slippers and other small touches are great. The rooms are dotted around a gorgeous courtyard.
We left our luggage and returned to the same room after our Machu Picchu visit.
The breakfast is great. Fresh buffet with fruit etc and eggs cooked to order. We checked out other hotels in the area and this is definitely the best value for money.
It's a shame the road works mean you cannot access the hotel door by car.

Dear guest,
Thank you for giving us feedback about your stay. We are glad you enjoyed the rooms and other facilities. Also that you liked our delicious breakfast. Sadly the road works escape our management, but the city authorities are finishing them soon!

The hotel is very nice and the staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was good.

It would be great they tell you before confirming the booking that the street is under construction. It is the rainy season and most of the street was muddy.

Dear guest,
Thank you for taking time to give us feedback about your stay. We are glad you enjoyed our personalized service and breakfast. We are sorry about the incoveniences about the road construction, but it escapes our management, the city's administration is doing the work. But we try our best to make this construction as less inconvenient to our guests' as possible.

We loved our one night stay in this hotel. The ambiance is amazing - the hotel dates back to the 1700s/1800s, and we loved the multiple colorful courtyards. Our room for 3 people was incredible - 2 large beds, a very nice bathroom, and it was 2 stories (the upstairs had a few couches, as well as a hot water heater and coca leaves). The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating - they gave us our vegan breakfast at 3:20am when we had to take a taxi to the airport. They also arranged this taxi for us, which was very convenient, though it was overpriced. The hotel is in walking distance of the Plaza de Armas, with many stores and restaurants, and the neighborhood feels very safe.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a night, and we had a great experience. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. We had just come back from Puerto Maldonado (aka the jungle) so we were happy to see the large bathroom and bathtub. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was served promptly at 6am and had a ton of options for all kinds of eaters. The only thing we didn't love was the construction going on right outside the hotel. It made it a bit hard to get to the actual hotel with our luggage. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this hotel!

Great surprise in Cuzco, Tambo del Arriero hotel proved to be a cozy, well located and very friendly place to be at.
Staff was very nice and gentle, our friend Massiel has the best. She took care of all we need, from tours to restaurant recommendations.
Room was clean and spacious.
The only negative to point was the internet, very poor signal either in the room or on the public areas of the hotel. This is something the hotel should consider to get a 5th star, it makes a huge difference for people like me that even in vac have to keep an eye on business.

Room Tip: We had the Jr Suite and it was great, cozy, spacious and comfortable. Internet was bad, need to improve
