We enjoyed out stay with Unaytambo, the room was very spacious & comfortable. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had forgotten about breakfast & were not told by the staff on the 1st day (a bit jet lagged) but had a very good breakfast the 2nd & 3rd day.

We'd recommend staying here to our friends and family. It's off a side alley and is quiet but close enough to all the sites and activities!

We stayed 3 nights and it was a nice hotel.A short walk to restaurants and lots of shopping areas.Staff were very helpful. No bar fridges like in most hotels we stayed in.The breakfast offerings were basic but hit the spot and we did order eggs which were cooked to our liking.

Room tip: Laneways rooms were a bit noisey on occasions

Stayed here for five nights in total, on two separate visits. Great location, so close to key parts of town. Our room 205 was on first floor overlooking the church with a lovely wobbly wooden floor and small verandah.
Hotel has no restaurant or lounge but all the good restaurants are just a short walk away. A simple spread for breakfast is served near reception and if weather is good you can eat in the large courtyard. Cook was very happy to make eggs for us however we wanted as well as provide hot milk.
Room had very well priced minibar and very good wi-fi.
If staying in Cusco again, I'd be more than happy to stay here agin.

We stayed here for 4 nights - 3 nights acclimatising and 1 night on the way back from Machu Picchu. The location is excellent. The rooms however are not. The beds are the smallest of double beds and the mattresses are very old and noisy. The rooms upstairs to the left are very noisy as they face the laneway that is used at all hours. The rooms to the right reek of mould / dampness. The breakfast is very, very average. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Room tip: You will want a room upstairs to the right and then left down the corridor

We stayed here for a couple of nights during our tour of Peru. The hotel is located close to the main plaza (Plaza de Armas) so there is stuff around. But that's pretty much all I can put on the plus side because the rest was meh and some things were terrible

Not so good things:
- Although room was spacious, layout was kinda useless. The "closet" to hang things was by the door (in like a living room area) and the area where we slept had no space to put stuff .. and electric plugs were very scarce. So if it's several of you in the room, you might have to take turns to charge your phone.

- Bathroom light goes on along with the fan- it made a lot of noise .. like a lot.

- Shower overflows a bit - make sure you completely shut the shower door. It takes sometime to drain so the water just accumulates.

- Internet connection is TERRIBLE. I know we don't go to Cusco to use Internet, but we all use it from time to time but I was never able to connect. There are 3 accounts and none of them worked. We told the guy at the front that it was giving us an error about the password and he said it was correct and what happens is that everyone connects at night and that's why it sucks. I tried at 5am while getting ready to leave, and didn't work .. soo .. yeah.

- Breakfast (if you call that breakfast) wasn't good. Hard bread, some sweet bread (like a chocolate loaf or something) some fruit that includes apples and bananas and a "fruit platter" from where I got 3 pieces of kiwi and wasn't replenished while I was there. They had some ham and cheese so you could make a sandwich with the hard round bread. Coffee is super strong, very black. Some sort of puffed cereal .. the only good thing was the banana, some nuts and that's about it.

We only stayed a couple of nights and were barely there since we were on tours all day so it kinda worked .. but out of the 5 hotels we stayed during our visit to Peru, this was probably the worst. I wouldn't go back if I were to visit Cusco again.
