The lodge was nice, although rustic. We were met at the airport and all our travels needs were taken care of, including the trip back to the airport. The staff provided for all our needs, in fact, anticipated our needs. They were attentive to our safety. The room was spacious. There was plenty of food. The tour was amazing. We saw dolphins, cayman, monkeys, various snakes, frogs, insects and spiders. Our guide, Kid, had good English speaking skills. He arranged our tour around what we wanted to see. The location of the lodge was very pretty, quiet and peaceful for the most part. The only thing that was disruptive was the loud music into the early morning from the village next door.

Fascinating voyage, visiting villages, seeing the way of life there, seeing the wildlife. Just incredible.

It was so sweaty hot but lovely,,,so much decay but at the same time a real buzz when you think about where you are huge tip is dont skimp on the mosquito lotion,, buy a really good one plus buy zip off trousers, , so you can convert them into shorts when you are inside your accommodation, , dont dress to impress there just make sure you have your legs and arms covered and wear hats outside and a good sun tan lotion

If you are looking for a genuine jungle experience this ecotour is a can't miss. Upon arrival in Iquitos we were met by the owner, Gerson, and driven to Nauta where we continued by canoe to the riverfront lodge. The guides all speak good English and make every effort to please. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights, with activities planned for each day. These included daily boat rides with our guide Wilson, day and night hikes through the jungle, and three meals a day made with fresh ingredients. We spotted caimans, monkeys, toucans, boas, giant bullfrogs, tarantulas, sloths, dolphins. We fished for piranha and ate our catch for lunch. The resort is clean throughout and the food is fresh and plentiful. As well as enjoying the jungle, we loved sitting in the lookout tower over the river watching the local residents travel to and from the nearby village. The only negative to speak of is the extremely loud music played throughout one night. This is not really the fault of the lodge but is nevertheless irritating. If you are looking for a really good value and a genuine jungle experience this is a great choice.
