We were welcomed to the restaurant by a doorman at the street and shown into the restaurant. It was quiet and serene. Since there were few other patrons, service was prompt. We ordered the almuerzo (fixed menu lunch). The first course was a generous bowl of a tasty chicken soup with chunks of carrots and potatoes and a glass of lemonade . The main course consisted of a mound of rice, several delicious fried potato wedges, a salad of tomatoes, carrots, and green pepper, and a bowl of very nice mild beef curry. The dessert course was a small bowl of carrot halwa. We had never tasted halwa before and were very impressed! Overall, a pleasant atmosphere and excellent food.
