A little hard to find but once we did it suited us just fine....Veronica and her staff were super helpful. We do not speak much spanish which made it a little more challenging...but they had some english speaking interns which helped a lot. It is in a very good area of Cerro Concepcion...close to many shops and eateries. We loved the murals in the area...I took dozens of pictures...We really enjoyed the whole area and would recommend it.We had room number 1 and it was large and very clean.Bye the way the food at Fauna was superb!!!

Room Tip: room number one was great

The staff are wonderful. Right from the time I walked into the lane till I left there was always someone around. Pity I know not a word of Spanish so a lot of what was said was wasted on me.

The breakfast is quite spartan but adequate. The room was tiny. Had a single bed with no place to open a large suitcase. Which I had. No place to hang your clothes. Just a few open shelves.

I was in #5 which has an entire was full of windows. The room is lit even in the night. And the place can get noisy if the neighbours decide to sing. I suffered one Saturday night when singing continued till dawn.

There are several furniculars around the hotel. Also it is an easy trek down the hills.

The food joints are all a rip off on Concepcion but if you take the Acsenor Reina Victoria down to the square below price of beer and food halves every 150 metres or so.

The walk to Neruda's house was about 40 mins. You have to go down and then climb all the way up. Totally worth the trek. The man had a great view of the harbour and town but did not have a very good taste in art or furniture. Love his poetry though!

Very well located, close to all the fun of Cerro Alegre. The problem is water pressure is poor, so dont expect a good shower. Also, walls are too thin, you can hear everything thats going on next door. Great breakfasts!

We liked the location and the staff, but our room and the property as a who had some shortcomings. We booked a room with three twin beds - they were very comfortable and we liked the weight of the bedding. However, there was hardly any ventilation and the room was very hot in the afternoon. This would have been OK if there had been a small outside space to sit in - we just sat in our hot room instead. There was not a safe and the staff didn't know how to access the one they had for everyone to use. Our bathroom was about as small and narrow as it could possibly be and as we were a party of three women, the one small mirror inside the small bathroom was deemed inadequate. We had never seen a toilet turned sideways in a bathroom before, but it worked, The shower was so small that if you moved (shaved, soaped your legs) you bumped the water control. (YIKES) There was plenty of hot water and closet space. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Such a beautiful clean place. Friendly staff. Had a wonderful overnight stay in a triple room that comfortably slept 3 adults. Would recommend this to anyone who has a sense of adventure in Valparaiso.

Room Tip: Our room had windows, it appears a few might not. Could be an issue for some.
