This is a really nice place, perfectly situated in the northern part of the Bicentenario Park. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and perfect for enjoying a drink or a meal. The food was really good and the service was attentative even on a busy Saturday lunch. The salmon chivese was really nice and there is a very good selection on the menu.

It can be busy so it might be a good idea to make a reservation.

Will definately return

The place is amazing, located in the middle of a park and very open. The menu is very wide and the wine cart is very good. The seafood is amazing and the people is very friendly, however being such a big place the service is not so fast and customized. We were a group of eight and we have to wait every time we asked for something. The place is not cheap but in my opinion the price -. Value relationship is very good. I highly recommended Mestizo for business, couples and family lunch or dinner. The place is great!

We stopped by for dinner after a nice walk through Parque Bicentario, without reservations, on Good Friday. We wanted to sit in the terrace downstairs but that and the main dinning room had over an hour wait time.

We were delighted when they offer to sit us on the top floor terrace. Much better than downstairs that was later super crowded and noisy.

Four of us ordered drinks, a few appetizers and an entree to share. My favorites were the cheese empanadas and the pork slices—super tender and excellent flavors.

All in all, great experience, with good food and service—a restaurant I’d consider recommending to friends and to return during another visit to Santiago.

This modern restaurant offers good food and is located in a very nice environment. You should make a reservation in advance, otherwise staff will act be condescending. This is a busy place and only opens in the evenings. Try to get there while there is still daylight so you can enjoy the surroundings. Menu choices include Chilean and international options and of course try Chilean Pisco Sour.

This is one of the nicest places for lunch in Santiago because of the great terrace overlooking the park. Food is wonderful and the waitress is very professional. However the interactions with the hosts was unwelcoming and eventually rude. We made a reservation on the terrace (not easy as the on line system doesn't work and the phones are always busy) the day before specifically as one of the guests is always accompanied by her dog. We arrived exactly at our reservation time and they tried to seat inside. We refused as the reservation was very clear has to be outside and asked to be changed. As we followed the hostess out to the terrace she lashed out at me and said "wait outside your table isn't ready". We almost left the place as we felt totally unwelcomed. I understand this is a trendy place but it's not the right way to treat customers. So in all this really made the experience feel pretty bad and changed the whole mood of the day.
