Our room was more like a self contained flat; two bedrooms, kitchen, two bathrooms, spacious living area with dining table, large balcony. Spotlessly clean, and absolutely no smoking anywhere in the hotel, including balconies, feels like 'breath of fresh air everywhere'.
Good access to metro system, 5min walk. Restaurants and shops all close by.
Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast is fresh, tasty, hot tea and coffee, spotlessly clean, varied choice to suit all palettes, staff very pleasant.
We would use again, by far one of the better hotels we have stayed at in all our travels.

Room Tip: We had a room for three adults on 6th floor (65), quite, comfortable and peaceful.

We found this hotel through a search on Trip Advisor . Being totally unfamiliar with Santiago and its layout , we took a chance based on excellent reviews. We were not disappointed! Our 4 night stay was delightful. The rooms are spacious.....that's because these are suites with kitchenette and living/dining area. The desk/ housekeeping personnel were very helpful . We particularly want to point out the help of the afternoon concierge ( sorry I don't recall his name) who despite his limited knowledge of English was able to book us some excellent tours of the area! Free breakfast adds to the appeal of this hotel along with its location in a safe and cosmopolitan area.

There is is a chain of 3 Plaza el Bosque hotels in Santiago. This one is in the financial district, close to a subway station. We found the location convenient, though to be honest we used Uber to commute mostly and pickup/dropoff had always been at the front entrance.

The suites are of good size and ours on a high floor was bright and airy. The bed was a little lumpy but comfortable which afforded great relaxing sleeps in all 5 nights' stay. It had a kitchenette with kettle, stove, fridge, microwave and sink.

Apart from the location and size however, the suites (well at least ours) was getting a bit worse for wear. The curtains did not close properly but lucky we had some clips so the morning sun did not wake us early. The air conditioner was located in the sitting room and it was a bit touch and go to get the cool breeze into the bedroom. But this may only be a seasonal problem as this may not apply to winter months.

The other thing was that the bathroom was quite small with a single small sink and bench space, and the shower was located on top of bathtub with sliding glass enclosure; some may find this space a little tight. There was a centralised air extractor on the wall, but really not strong enough to make a difference. Just avoid eating baked beans, curries and garlic during your stay!

Breakfast was complimentary and was quite adequate with free flow of coffee, cereals, fresh fruits, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, etc...

Staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. We had a midnight flight and the front desk was kind enough to give us a 2pm late checkout. We left the luggage with the concierge to do a bit of last minute shopping and walk around. On return, they let us use their Fitness Center changing rooms for a quick shower and change before going off to the airport, which was greatly appreciated.

Overall, I felt our stay was good value. Just remember to bring your clips and maybe masking tape for the curtains ;)

after doing research on trip advisor i was pretty sure on booking this place and we werent disappointed. great location to restaurants, a small grocery store, metro and a huge shopping mall which is also the tallest building in chile. getting into the main part of the city by train took about 12 minutes. felt very safe walking around at night. the hotel rooms are clean, quiet and have what you need in there. small kitchen but it does the job. i would of liked the tv in the lounge room and not the bedroom which i thought was strange. i can understand if there were two tv's. wifi was good. the breakfast was ok. staff were nice and helped when they could. it is so much better than staying at a standard hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Plaza El Bosque during our recent travel to Santiago. We visited the hotel on separate occasions during our travel. We were there in the month of November, 2015

Our first visit we had a double room which was extremely comfortable with a large bed. The safe box is located in the closet.
Good breakfast, nice location, quiet, close to subway, close to downtown

Cost of PLAZA EL BOSQUE SAN SEBASTIAN 2 nights C$441.06 with Expedia.ca

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: The gym is located in another building. To access it you must go outside of the hotel.
