A nice walk through gardens and past ponds gets you to a small fort, castle and shrine, and ultimately a lookout with good views of the city. There are a fair number of steps.

Visiting this park offers beautiful vistas of an elegant era of design. The balustrades, water fountains and statues are such a pleasant surprise in this bustling city. The insight to build this beautiful space for the city is still worthwhile. Take a few moments to look at the tiles and plants that speak to its bygone era.

The hill is very nice and it is not hard to reach the top there is nice gardens surrounding the top view , an old Castillo with a point of view unfortunately there is too many people at the top and it is very hard to move or take a picture

Best stop on City bus tour allowing both exploration of Cerro St Lucia and other Governemt buildings dating back to late 19th century. Quite a few steps and bit of climb to top but worth it.

An easy and short hike (25 minutes) brought us to the top of the hill, which was once a fortress. Beautiful views of the city. There was a man playing music at the top. A wonderful hideaway from the bustling city.
