We enjoyed two outings with our guide, Alex, of Jass Puerto Varas.
All communication was prompt and we appreciated that he was flexible in planning which activity would work best for us according to the weather forecast. Our first trip was the half day kayak in La Poza which was serene and Alex was patient and helpful with us inexperienced kayakers. The next day he picked us up for our trek to Paso Desolacion. We enjoyed the hike, the beautiful views and the refreshing salads and snacks that were provided.

We joined the full-day kayak tour to a fjord just outside of Puerto Varas and had a fun day. The tour was well-organized, our guide Alex was really friendly and informative, the area was beautiful and lunch on a local farm was nice. I would definitely recommend a full-day trip to get the full experience.
The only down-side is that the cost seemed really high for a one-day trip, but we knew that going in.

Having dabbled with kayaking a few times in the past my partner and I were keen to try it in Puerto Varas. We booked late in the evening for the following morning via WhatsApp and Jass was friendly and accommodating and sorted it quickly. Next morning we had an awesome experience kayaking on the lagoon and on the lake, watching the birds and being amazed at the volcanoes rising above us. Our guide Alex was informative and interesting and added a further layer to the experience.

Do this you won’t regret it!!

While searching for a less expensive kayak trip we came across Jass, They came to pick us up at our hotel and the guide was verry friendly and professional. We drove up to this small but mesmerizing private entrance to a beautiful lagoon. After and a few snacks on the water we went out to Lago Llanquihue and at the end some tea and a cheese cracker to end a great day. Thanx!!

Awesome full day kayak trip with our guide Alex. Paddled in the fjords with pristine waters and clear vistas. Boats were suitable for the conditions & were well equipped with two dry bag. Lunch spot was at a rustic private homestead that’s a 5th generation self supporting farm. Expect simple fair, Yolanda did not speak English but was happy to share her culture which Alex translated.
