Set slightly above the town, the hotel has a view across the river.
Rooms were very small, with hardly any space to move in them. Bathrooms were equally cramped, with no surfaces to put any thing and only one towel hook. Towels were left on the toilet and the spare toilet roll on the radiator. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean.

A good range of food available at breakfast, including scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, blueberries, banana, pineapple, cakes, cereal, yoghurt.
Local welcome drink when we arrived was a nice touch. Small outdoor pool and seating area looked nice, but didn’t use as it was raining.

This is an average hotel with above average staff. The hotel could use some rejuvenation but there are several positives about the hotel. It is an easy walk to downtown Puerto Varas. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered lots of variety. We were given a voucher for a welcome drink which was a nice touch. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall we had a good stay.

My wife and i recently stayed one night. The place was clean, staff attentive and nice view of city and lake but not volcano ( we were told this).Another plus is its closeness to town where parking is becoming difficult. Two negatives directly due to poor general management: The welcome drink has ONE choice of some unknown drink-no wine, not even a bottle of club soda!! Why bother! Also parking is very limited but staff doesn't take down license plates so should some one mistaken block a car they wouldn't be able to know who the person is! This can easily be fixed with better management!y

A distinctive hotel sitting above most of the town. It is reached by a very steep path, but is easy to find and close to the town centre and lakefront. The place is very well maintained and is spotlessly clean. Rooms are quite spacious. Breakfast has a fairly good selection. The rooms are not very soundproof- I arrived to the roars of someone snoring in the next room and then heard him being wakened some hours later by a high pitched female voice.

Room tip: some rooms have better views

We stayed here 5 nights. The room was a good size and the beds very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, I used the phone at reception and they helped me print out ferry tickets etc. Good wifi. The food was great. There was a limited menu for dinner and we tried everything. It was all good. It is a place I would recommend. Accommodation in P Varas is expensive and I thought the 90US$ a night was reasonable. This is the Radisson PARK hotel on a quiet back street behind the big Radisson hotel on the coast.
