We came in search of a meal along Serangoon Road. The sights, sounds & smell of the place prompted us to sit down immediately. We ordered then enjoyed freshly made chapatis & a variety of tasty curries. We have tried chapatis served by eateries from many parts of the world but nothing surpassed the quality of those prepared by the men at Azmi's. It must have been established a long time ago during the British era perhaps during the inter-war years. The place has a simplicity and charm that is so rare these days. We felt as if little has changed since its inception and but for the cosmopolitan patrons one could have easily mistaken the restaurant to be in a place like Lahore! Access to beer was an added bonus but the real appeal was the authentic central Indian meals and the characters that served us. Highly recommended.
