With ample seats, BRUSSELs SPROUTS is the perfect restaurant for a lazy Saturday lunch, or a noisy family and friends gathering! Famous for its 12 preparations of mussels sauces including the traditional Belgian favourites Mediterranean, White Wine and Classic Cream and Chardonnay, as well as more Asian-inspired ones like Tom Yam, Chilli Crab and Thai. We also now have the Leffe Brune Rotisserie Chicken and Grilled Sausages, all bound to satisfy your hunger. “Just get the service right!!!”
Reviewed 16 January 2012

Good food, lots of Belgium beers, good location. Nearly ruined by awful service. Meals didn't arrive at the same time, it took me four attempts to get our drinks, staff standing around chatting as diners sat waiting. It's not difficult to get right, yet it seems staff training has been overlooked.

“For Fans of Mussels”
Reviewed 12 January 2012

I am a huge fan of mussels, and this place makes the best in Singapore, offering both "traditional" belgian and Asian "tastes". The tap beer is also good. I somehow like the (new) East Coast/Big Splash location a bit more than the Robertson Quay outlet. Just a very nice slightly less "expat just off work" ambiance in a very nice open space and slightly better service.

“Belgium in singapore”
Reviewed 11 January 2012

A very good restaurant on the Singapore river.
Excellent and very comprehensive menu together with a range of Belgium and local beers. We ate fish (in beer batter) and chips which was really good and the portion size was very generous, eaten with a glass of stella beer.
One of the favourite meals appeared to be mussels with a choice of many sauces.
The total cost was reasonable for Singapore, which is not the cheapest city on earth.
We were there on Sunday evening and the place was crowded, we were lucky to get a table without a reservation.
To be recommended.

“Love it!”
Reviewed 4 January 2012

Love going there and drinking one (or more) of their many many beers along with some clams/mussels and French fries. Very good service and advice should you want to try new beers.
If you are still hungry I would suggest the Steak frite with Bearnaise.
Easy to get in, hard to get out. They have also a happy our till 8 o'clock.
Highly recommended.

“Chili Crab Mussels, Chips and Belgian Beer”
Reviewed 7 December 2011

Homer Simpson would have conniptions. The above combination is a perfect start to any evening. Initially looked for Forbidden Fruit, which they did not have so had to settle for Hoegaarden blanche on tap (still a safe choice). Service was not top notch, but no major blunders. Unlimited chips (oops, frites...) was great. Not that greasy as was earlier mentioned and the aioli dip went well with it.
Will come back...
