I have been going to this place since I was a child. It has changed names a few times. The food has always been consistently good. The steamed mushroom dumplings are especially good - you can taste the cubes of mushroom in every bite. Having said that, all the dim sum is very good - good, old-fashioned taste that has not changed for years. I like that.

The stir fried asparagus with garlic is very good! The asparagus is crunchy and fresh. Not too much oil, even though it looks greasy.

The fried mee swa is also very good. A small plate will fill about 6 people if you order other food. The seafood comes in big pieces, with some egg in it. Real value for money.

Desserts are average, but given the variety of dim sum and menu items available, you can either eat dessert or skip it.

This is probably one of the very few places in Singapore left, where aunties pushing dim sum carts still exist. Brings back a touch of nostalgia and retro feel.

This is the last few restaurants in Singapore where you can still get the nostalgic feel with pushcart Dim Sum. Crowds started streaming in around 11am on weekends. The fried items were quite oily. Recommended items are: steamed chicken feet, char siew bao, baked mini egg tarts, baked char siew pastry. Highly recommend their cooling coconut pudding.

Went for a brunch on weekend. Dim sum are serve from the push cart without menu. Dim sum are good and you can find some old style teochew foods here,eg: the cold pork jelly.
service is messy and need to improve, price are slightly high. Suggest go at 10.30am where you can try the dim sum followed by trying some foods from lunch menu available only after 11.30am.

This restaurant serves dim sum for breakfast. Went with my parents and husband during their opening hour at 8am. Thus, not much crowd. No menu provided and you will choose the dim sum based on what is available on the push cart. The waitress will constantly come to ask if you want certain dishes. Dim sum is rather average. The vinegar pig trotter is not bad. Mom commented that it is very flavourful. Overall, she prefers Red Star to Swatow. For 4 of us, we spent around $72 for 12 dim sum dishes and hot tea which is still quite reasonable.

Had the dim sum for breakfast to celebrate my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. It was called Fortune Restaurant previously where my parents had their wedding banquet back then. The food was value for money for it's quality and pricing. Ordered tons of food for 5 adults and 1 child and the amount was less than 150sgd.
