Within the gardens by the bay next to the children's garden, this is the local option, and probably a tourist trap as well. Pretty high prices and average food. Also looks run down for a newish attraction

Satay by the Bay can be found at the back end of Gardens by the bay. It is quite a distance to walk in, so may be worth paying the S$3 for the shuttle which you can then make use of for the entire day. Quite a few vendors doing the satay sticks so you are spoiled for choice. There were Halal vendors as well. We opted for the lobster curry, which was Devine! The portion size was very generous and was sufficient for two people to share.

Came here for dinner after visiting Gardens by the Bay for the afternoon. Much cheaper than other nearby options. Many good food choices. We had several serves of chicken and beef satay. Food and drink all reasonably priced. Quick service.

I like genuine spicy satay with lots of chilli in the peanut sauce and juicy meat.
I have eaten satay in many other locations in Singapore but either the sauce was just peanuts (for tourists) or the meat was dry.
Also,at other stalls, you can buy vegetables cooked Chinese-style to complement the meat.
The added bonus is the evening light/music show at the adjacent Gardens by the Bay (check times).
