i had a trip to Singapore with my parents and among other things took a river cruise to Kusu island. It costs around 70 usd, which i do feel is a bit expensive. Our Singapore stay was for 6 days and we all had by passed our share of fun with animals, so kept them at the minimum in our itenary. Kusu river cruise was an ideal choice. We went for high tea and the ordeal went on for around 2.5 hrs with hotel pick up and drop off. The boat was nice, intriguing and clean. It had 3 floors with food being served only on the ground storey. The commentary went on and the whole journey was quite scenic and relaxing. Kusu itself is a small island with less than 15 mins of walkable distance. We saw the Chinese temple and some good number of steps for the Malayan tomb, which was honestly quite dark, lonely and intriguing. The Singapore flyer looks very good from this island. I highly recommend the toy museum for travellers who have either more time, health constrains or just simply don't want to spend too much time and money on animals
