Stayed there for 4 days and disappointed by whole experience. When we booked online we were asked for the time of arrival which we gave as early am. When we got to the hotel we were told the room would not be available until 2 pm. This might have been a condition in the small print but they could easily adapt the website to highlight this when you book. Anyway tired after an overnight flight they wanted to charge us 50% of a full room rate to use a room for 5 hours ! After a long argument involving superiors they finally backed down but it was not a good start. The hotel receptionist was particularly unhelpful. The room was very small and then one night they shut the hotel bar at 11 pm with no reason or warning.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for 5 days in Jan 2012 and again in early Feb 2012. The first visit was ok, but the second was appalling. How this place got 4 stars is a mystery...2 stars would be more appropriate. Rooms fairly clean, average size, individual aircon which was not adequate. Daily room service. Vacuum cleaners are banned at this hotel, it would seem.
For those with children be advised some of the exterior windows are not secure and can be pushed open easily. I noted also an absence of smoke detectors in the rooms.
This hotels single biggest failing is the appalling customer service.
Our aircon became so noisy I thought it was a fire bell going off. We had to demand a room change, never suggested and no apology. Requests for extra towels or clean cups were simply ignored.
Use another hotel, not this one.

Room Tip: Rooms at another hotel are advised.

We stayed for 4 nights in January in the tower wing - the rooms were small but nicely set up. Whilst clean the curtains were dirty in room 519 and the thermostat required fixing. Breakfast was included and was adequate - the complimentary shuttle was good - but you must register. We enjoyed the pool. The downside was check in took 30 minutes and our second room was not ready although after 2pm. On the plus side we received a small new years gift - a nice touch and we were an able to use the Pool area and showers on the day we left. Overall pretty good but not the best choice for families as no connecting rooms.

I stayed there for just two nights on a business trip. Early check in was possible free of charge. But no one from the service was able to iron my suite.. Anyway, they provided the iron at least. The room was clean but really small. But the view and the small balcony were compensating. Location is pretty good. You can walk to Clarke Quai, plenty of restaurants around there.
Facilities are nice and in good shape. Breakfast was good as well, wide range of Asian and Western

We stayed here for 2 nights at a deluxe room over the weekend, was given a family room on the 5th floor. Check in was prompt, the hotel lobby seems quiet on a Saturday afternoon.
Room was clean and spacious, and have a balcony for some fresh air. Breakfast is decent and ends at late 1030am.
Swimming pool is small but it is sufficient on a low season month. Same for the gym, sauna, jaccuzzi.
What we loved most is the location of the hotel, which is minutes away from Robertson quay. We enjoyed the evening walk along the Singapore river. Endless cafes, restaurants line the sides of the river leading to the Marina barrage.
