Cebu is known to have the best lechon in the whole Philippines and that is an absolute fact. For those who don't know, lechon is term for Filipino roast pig. Lechon in Cebu City is quite expensive but if you go to Carcar's Public Market, just walk inside you will find several lechon stalls. All of which sell at the same tariffs/prices so you just have to choose which one stall to buy from.
One thing that is unique about Carcar lechon is that it's really juicy. Once you buy they will give you additional lechon fluids (juice). Beside the lechon stalls are some local eateries, you just choose which one to dine in, buy rice and other main dishes and you can eat with lechon as well.
FYI, lechon in Carcar Public Market is more or less 25%-30% cheaper than lechon in Cebu City.
Tips: When you eat lechon make sure to dip it with soy sauce mixed with vinegar and spices to add a super delicious taste.
