Our stay started off with free airport transfer (amazing), a free room upgrade (even better) and advice on tours/transport that could be booked. Each morning we were given a tasty breakfast (plenty of different options each day to chose from) and chatted with the staff who were keen to offer advice and talk about their lives which we were very interested in.

The room itself was very clean and could be cleaned if we asked or left the door sign out. A bottle of water per person was also provided each day. The air con worked well and was pretty quiet at night, just turn off the blue LED display and you get a perfect night’s sleep!

I would definitely recommend Casa Belina, it is a short trike ride to most places or a longer walk along the main road.

The hostel will pick you up from the airport for free if you send them your details, which is really kind. The staff are very friendly as is the owner, we were given an upgrade on the room, which was lovely, spotlessly clean, big bed, shower, aircon & TV with English movie channels. They have the best WiFi in the Philippines and is the best hostel I’ve stayed in, in 3 weeks. The breakfast was also very nice. They can arrange transfers to El Nido & other tours of the area.

I thought the owner Ben was an incredibly warm sincere person who was always available to help. The beds were fine. After getting sick in cebu i really didnt leave my room much. Two reasons i gave it average was because being in my room i depended on television which i always make sure i have when i travel, the reception was awful. The breakfast was very minimal. For a budget place taking into consideration the hospitality it was ok. The only real problem i had was that they advised me that there was no way to get from el nido to boracay, there was and i lost $220. Because it made no sense to go through a day of travel when there was a one hr flight.

This is a new property located in a quiet street on the outskirts of Puerto Princess.

Everything here is excellent, from the free airport shuttle service to the enthusiastic staff, the spotlessly clean common areas, the rooms which are spacious enough and the breakfast which is included.

All of this at hostel prices makes this affordable luxury for even the most budget conscious traveller.

This place is the definition of home sweet home. My friends and I were hosted and we were very well attended by the owners and all the staff. The facilities are very comfortable, good wi-fi connection, great breakfast and staff really willing to help and cater for you! A wonderful stay.
