i chose this hotel because it looked good in the pictures and it had a swimkming pool.but in real, this hotel is already old but at least clean.and breakfast was not tasty.if the room charge was cheaper, maybe i was satisfied.but i think the room charge of this hotel a little bit too high.and i found no need swiming pool if i joined to one day tour.one day tour was very good, but if you go to ELNIDO,you can join same one day tour evenif you sgtay any hotel.they have 4 kinds of one day tour for all guests, tour A,B,C,D,and same price in any tour agency.everyone says ELNIDO is a very good place,i think its true, and you can choose any hotel,to enjoy ELNIDO.if i go to ELNIDO next time, ill choose a hotel near the beach, downtown, because this hotel is very far from the downtown or beach and to go there,350pesos fare needed by tricycle, two ways 700pesos,its expensive very much.the breakfast there was not tasty, but when i had dinner, thats tasty and not expensive.

it's a good bit outside of the main town but still lovely. The staff made this place. They were all so lovely and helpful when we were there. We had a bit of confusion with the pickup from the airport but we forgot about it quickly. Food wasn't amazing - it was quite local which normally I wouldn't mind but I didn't think it was great either way but it didn't bother us that much. Actually we discovered quite late into the stay that their pasta dishes was good. Again views were stunning and seemed like a great family resort.

I stayed here for 3 nights from the 15th June to the 18th June..A few plus points first..1. The scenery is awesome..the beach is good and the sunset here is great..2. It is very environment friendly..3.The staff is good..
Now the not so good..1. The room does not provide even the most basic of amenities even if the rates are not that cheap. ( no drinking water in the room, not enough toiletries, no face tissue, no hair dryer etc..)
2. The route out is quite dark..3. No regular transport out..4 Some parts of the hotel are run down..5...The menu is rather limited and repetitive..6..Room service ceases at 9.30pm..7. Not much activities and amenities in the hotel

We stayed for 3 nights in the Forest Room near the pool area and every second of our stay was lovely. All of the staff are very helpful especially Rodel who makes very good drinks. You don't need to worry with your activities and transportation because the front desk can arrange it for you. Breakfast was delicious with many to choose from.

Our only comment is that we stayed for a short period and hoped that we didn't transfer in town proper which is very crowded.

Thank you again to everyone! Kuddos to Rodel, Arnel and the lady guard

Room Tip: dont stay in town proper if you want a peaceful resort

My boyfriend and I booked a 3D2N stay for our first ever trip to El Nido Palawan.

As soon as we landed, the resort's airport transportation was waiting patiently despite the flight being delayed for over an hour. We were assisted with our luggage and safely transported to the resort, which was a 10-15 minute drive from Lio Airport. We were immediately greeted by smiling faces at the front desk reception. Check in was at 2pm, and we arrived around noon so we decided to order lunch in the dining area. You had the option of either dining inside, or out on an open patio overlooking the sea. The food, especially the stuffed squid, was fresh and excellent! I highly recommend ordering this dish along with any fresh fruit shake!

We checked into the Forest Room, tucked in amongst the trees in a more private area of the resort. The room was clean and very spacious, and had a small patio with outdoor seating. The resort is completely eco friendly so no plastic products or containers are used! All soaps, bath gels, shampoos and conditioners are neatly bottled in porcelain jars for guests to use. Water was heated and strong, although there are no shower curtains so be mindful that the floor may get wet when showering. A bathroom mat is provided and I believe you can request for a second one if needed. Note that from the resort being located in such a secluded area that plumbing is still being developed so you may notice your bathroom water is quite murky! However, this was not a big deal for us at all. The resort will clean your room once a day and replace your towels if needed. I suggest to bring your own towels for beach/pool use as you cannot bring the room towels outside.

Room service is available! All you need to do is order at the front desk and request for the food to be sent to your room. El Nido Cove Resort's staff will be more than happy to meet your needs with a smile! There was not a day that we did not experience 5-star hospitality and accommodations from front desk, security and f&b service!

When booking island hopping tours, the resort will give you the option to book with their partners. My boyfriend and I booked with Spider Travel & Tour and we were not disappointed! Amazing experience, and probably the best beach picnic lunch we've ever had! Highly recommend!

Finally..
- if you are looking for a private, intimate beachfront resort away from noise and crowds, this is the resort for you
- wi-fi is not so reliable, but who needs it when you've got good company and awesome sunsets
- bring your own beach towels!
- be prepared with your items, town is a 20-30 minute drive away and tricycles can range from 150 to 300 pesos one way
- make sure to pack some bug spray or lotion
