Stayed with my family of 5. Beautiful grounds & rooms that overlook the Cadlao island, clean and modern washrooms (something I am always peculiar about when choosing the accommodation). The service was amazing. Breakfast was great, the food served in their restaurant was tasty (I recommend their Cadlao special burger, as well as their crepes), the pool surrounded by the cottages was very nice and heated.
When staying at the Cadlao, I suggest booking the island hopping tours with them as they transport you to the resort's private beach for lunch (which was amazing), it was one of our favourite locations throughout our stay. A very secluded beach that hosts a coral reef perfect for snorkelling, the small spot was haven. Kayaks are offered as well to travel the separate beaches should you find yourself bored.
The hotel itself does not have a nice beachfront. You're simply paying for the nice rooms, the view, and the two salt water pools. If you're not island hopping, it's easy to become bored since their cottages have no tvs and the wifi is abysmal. I didn't mind and would recommend the Cadlao to all my friends. More
