We stayed here 5nights. It was bliss. The staff are all so helpful and nice. Breakfast was available anytime throughout the day and you could decide where you wanted to have it, be it poolside or at the deck of your chalet. I thought this was such a lovely touch and it really let you relax knowing that you didn’t have to have to be up for breakfast at a certain time. Another lovely touch is that they included a free 30min back massage for one of us. My partner got used this and I went for the traditional massage with banana leaves. It was great. The therapist really worked on my bad shoulders.
The pool is lovely and very clean. It’s a great way to spend a day lounging by the pool. The resort is within short walking distance to the Bella Vita restaurant which is lovely for pizza and pasta.
The chalets are very spacious. The beds are comfy and clean. All in all can’t fault our time there.

Lovely quiet place away from the noise of the main town. Only 50 pesos into the centre of town in a tricycle. Room was very big, clean and spacious as was the bathroom. The pool area is lovely and was nice to come back to after a day of island hopping. Staff are very helpful and helped us in any way they could. Food in the restaurant is ok, we only ate once there. Every night there is live music in the bar/pool area which is nice to sit and listen to for a while. I would stay again.

I spent a couple of days at Coco Resort with my family in August.

The resort is beautiful and very well kept. Our bungalow was spacious, with a lovely veranda immersed in the tropical garden, lots of privacy. Kids loved the swimming pool!

All the personnel was extremely professional, helpful and friendly, particularly the people who took care of our room and at the reception.

Too bad the restaurant is not at the level it should be for this price category: the menu is boring and overpriced. What’s worse, anything not Filipino is simply very badly prepared.

We are a small family of 2 adults and a daughter of 15 years who checked in at the Resort late one evening, we were very excited about the Resort the room and the staf was very friendly.
However, 4-5 hours after our breakfast (omelette, bread and fruit) on the 2nd day, we found out that we all 3 got food poisoning.
We had chills, vomiting and fever. We did not eat anything else, so it certainly came from Resorts breakfast. Our city trip that day, ended very fast, and we went back to the hotel. Here we told the staf that we had inadvertently had some bad breakfast, they gave us the letters, that would help, they said…
They had not make up the room that day, so we had to call for clean glasses, cups, toilet paper, soap etc. They brought some of it, but my wife and I had to 7 times down to the reception to remind for the asked items, despite that we had a very difficult time, to get just a few meters away from the toilet….
They stoped to answer the phone in the reception, so we had no other choice that to go to the reception,
Confident that everyone in the hotel gradually became familiar with our situation, there was no understanding, it was quite uncomfortable to keep on returning to the reception, and mingle with other people when you prefer to lie in the bed, when you do not have to toilet, just trying to get the things that should be in the room, without asking for it at all.

Finally, we insisted that the owner should be informed, he also lives in the hotel, this changed nothing.

The next day we had to drive 6 hours by car, not something you look forward to do, when you feel like we did.
Normally, we always saw the owner walking around the property, but that morning he was unable to find, and we never got as much as an excuse from anyone, or they asked how we was feeling the following day. It took about a week, before our stomach was just almost normal.

There is a nice terrace, but we did not use it, because there was living a animal on the roof of our house, and it left a lot of excrements, next to our door, witch gave a bad smell, and did not look that nice, to be honest.

You don’t need to put on the alarm cloc, because the cocks from all the neighbors will wake you up, very early in the morning, and keep you awake until it gets dark again.

We travel a lot, both for vacation and because of our work, and I have to admit, we have never been so happy to leave a hotel like this time, and we will certainly never return to this Resort again.

Room Tip: Sorry, can't answer that.

The Coco resort is stunning. We didn't stay here but came here with our friends for lunch and dinner. The setting is amazing with the restaurant and bar overlooking the pool. The resort is extremely clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly. After our first visit we decided to have our daughters engagement meal and evening here. My special thanks to the owners who arranged this for us, such nice people. The menu has something for everyone and our meals were delicious. Don't think twice about staying here or just visiting, you won't be disappointed.
