Pros: The hotel was really pretty and the staff were wonderful - really friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nicely decorated and their attention to detail is amazing. I love the balcony. The pool is just great. Breakfast is nice with some western and Indonesia dishes. Location is quite good, there is a supermarket near by. Wifi is very strong and accessible everywhere on the grounds.

Cons: There is a call for prayer 5 times a day, but other than that, the place is surprisingly quiet. They provide you ear plugs. If you are a clean freak (which I am), you will find the room a little dusty and there are cobweb in some corners. Overall, it was a great stay and we will definitely stay here again.

Dear Valued Guest,

Your kind and fair reviews is highly appreciated. We are grateful that enjoyed our balcony room, the details, the saltwater pool and our restaurant dishes. We thank you as well for your appreciation to our staff. The call to prayers are indeed inevitable, we provide free earplug for light-sleepers or you may bring your own better quality earplug. We highly noted your comment about the cleanliness in the room and definitely assure you to improve our standard in that particular matter.

Once again thank you for staying with us, we do hope your next stay in our hotel will be a wonderful pleasant stay, as we assure the problems you have mentioned would not occurred again.

Best regards,
Management

We loved our time at this charming hotel. The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are lovely (especially the ones facing the garden), food at the restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere is just wonderful. The garden and pool area are great and you can discover new details every day. We spent 6 nights and it did not get boring. The only thing you need to know is that to reach the city centre you need to take a riksha as it is quite a long walk in a city that is not designed to discover it on foot.

Dear Blubbi B,

We would like to thank you for your kind words and your compliment to our staff. We are glad that you enjoyed our restaurant food, the rooms, our hotel details and ambience. Not far from the hotel there are actually many tourism attraction such as art shops, batik gallery or cafe that you can visit, only to blocks away, maybe on your next stay.

Once again we thank you for posting this reviews, we look forward to your return visit in the near future.

Best regards,

Yogyakarta is a fun frenetic city and it was an absolute pleasure to spend 3 wonderful days here. We had an upstairs room with a day bed on the balcony which was a great place to chill after a day's sight seeing. Enormous pool and a lovely restaurant that serves great food and is open on 3 sides. What sets this hotel apart is the wonderful level of service from everyone at the hotel. Nothing is a problem and everything is solved with a smile. We loved every minute of our stay at this fabulous hotel.

The Dusan Jogja Village Inn did not disappoint on this our second visit. Their rooms, physical space, swimming pool, dining room, bar and massages were excellent, but what made our visit truly memorable, was the genuine star attention and exceptional service given us by the waiters and bar staff, the very knowledgeable and personable way their Travel Desk ( Gusfi) arranged our itinerary and our excellent driver, who picked us up at the airport and graciously and competently delivered us safely to caves, volcano sites and temples, explaining and assisting with unfamiliar customs, obtaining discounted tickets for our Borobudur temple visit and doing so, always, in a quiet and unpretentious manner.
There is no way we would possibly stay at any other hotel than the Dusan on our next visit to Jogjakarta.

Located at the heart of Yogyakarta, its quite surprising to find a place so peaceful and tranquil. Looks even better than the pictures (while we fell in love with this place just by looking at pictures) love the rainy forest concept and you can hear stream sounds everywhere. Every part of the hotel so pleasing to the eye.

The hotel seems like a balinese concept placed here on the outside. But once you entered the room, the javanese aura conquered the room details. Only wifi is the problem, hard to get connection, not much of tv choices. Great for weekend getaway from your busy life schedules. I wish we’d stay longer.
