Visited Putri for 2 days 1 night. Great short boat ride away from Jakarta. Rooms are nice and clean, but I found too hot at night with no windows to open and poor aircon. Food was mediocre as well. Plenty to do on the island with snorkeling in the sea, fishing, swimming pool, water slides, and awesome aquarium too.

I went to Pulau Putri for a dive focussed weekend and had a great time. The diving itself was decent - colorful coral and abundant fish though the visibility was poor.

The resort was lovely. My duplex hut was well appointed with comfortable beds, a big shower, a fridge, AC and a wonderful veranda with amazing views of the sea and sunset. There was a pleasant breeze the whole weekend so it made for a great getaway from Jakarta's hustle and bustle. There are no cars on the island so it's quiet except for the sound of passing boats. Spectacular sunset, nice pool, great dock, abundant lounge chairs and benches around the island. A walking loop around the island takes about 20 minutes so it was nice to be able to do that coming from Jakarta where uninterrupted walking is a rare experience. There are fruit bats and monitor lizards all over too. The one downside was the food - all very boring and the same for every meal - some fried chicken, fried fish, boiled vegetables and rice. Fruit for dessert but it was mostly gone. They sell canned beer and soda at the restaurant so I highly recommend you bring your own drinks and snacks though the dive shop sells cookies and ice cream, but nothing salty that I could see. Overall a peaceful, calm and beautiful place only 90 minutes by boat from Jakarta.

Putri Island is one and a half hours North East of Jakarta. Its a great getaway from the madness and mayhem of Jakarta. The hotel has bungalows around the island that have all been recently refurbished. Large comfortable bed, clean modern Bathroom quiet AC and stunning views from the front verandah make it a very pleasant place to be. Plenty of things to do ,snorkelling, large pool, boat rides and a very good undersea aquarium.
Sounds like a dream,,right? Well almost. The hotel provides breakfast lunch and dinner from a buffet style setup. The food varies from cold and downright horrid to reasonable and warm. Service for drinks etc is ordinary and if they could only improve in this area it would be an amazing place to stay. I have learnt to take my own food ,snacks drinks to the island but it would be really nice to have good quality service, food and drinks

Room Tip: Ask for room on southern and eastern side of Island- bring your own wine and snacks

I’m reviewing this Putri Island (Pulau Putri) Resort hotel along with island’s environment and cleanness, it’s beyond my expectation. We went two couples, we booked tour through agent and stay one night which is sufficient, received very good greeting and farewell. The rooms are cleaned and comfortable for 3-star hotel particularly in that island belonging to Jakarta’s Thousand Islands. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very good (mainly local food), you can swim in the big outdoor swimming pool or in the ocean, be careful when you swim or walking in the ocean need to wear shoes is a coral reef island, good place for diving and snorkeling. Seashore and forest area are very clean you can walk freely and if intending to stay outside after sunset then ensures that you have taken mosquito cream (available in some shops in Jakarta) or anything to prevent mosquitos attack, I was not aware of that so I was a bit victim of mosquitos.

Room Tip: Bungalow resort all facing to the seaside, most of them are in ground floor and few with two floors
