Stayed here for a business trip very near the hotel. Just accross the big street. Very convenience location easy to find shops and street food just walking distance. My room was very clean although a bit small but all just functional and minimalist. Loved my stay and definately my pick for the next business trip.
Breakfast was standard but good enough for not more than 2 nights stay.

First time stayed at Clay. It's a budget hotel with a nice room even only 13sq with no window.

Bfast was so so as budget. Expect nothing.

The best is the location close to Thamrin and shopping centre Grand Indonesia.

The room is small, and have a semi transparent toilet glass walls. The hotel itself is very near to grand indonesia, but it is advisable to take uber or taxi to go there.there is a convenience store nearby the hotel too

the location is center of jakarta and i stay for 2 night.this hotel is small but make me comfort and for the parking area very limited but you can parking in front of hotel i think.for the staff/receptionist very welcome but when check in you must deposit around 50.000 idr.
the room is clean but a little bit small,the toiletries they just provide tooth brush and soap.
for the breakfast the taste standart.
my suggestion is :
1.because the place is limited for breakfast when there'r guest finished their breakfast please the dirty plate direct to clean up
2.for the man use the black uniform (i think he's chief because different uniform) who make egg,when the guest request the egg PLEASE SAY SOMETHING OR SMILE not just silent and not say anything.
3.the last for the desert when look empty please refill

for the breakfast i think you dont expect too much

The management of the hotel is unbelievably terrible.

So here's the story:

My partner made a booking via a third party app and wired the payment immediately on Saturday night, July 8.

There was no problem with the deal.. until we reachead the hotel. The hotel front office said it has no room available and had to reject our room due to what the hotel claimed as a glitch in the system.

But the hotel did not give us solution when we demanded our rights. Instead they referred us to some hotel in their hotel chain. But the rate was way below our room. And if you google the other hotel, you can easily find a bad perception of the hotel, with "esek-esek" label.

So, we insisted to have everthing settled that night at once and we refused to go into any such hassle in the days after.

They refused to give us the cash back, saying we have to wait for a refund from the third party operator, which could take longer than a simple cash back from the hotel.

The thing is, is not our fault and not our system.

That is when a man, standing right beside the front desk during the incident, started to act rude, yelling and arguing against us.

He claimed he was the hotel manager.

After making impolite gestures, including speaking in rude tone, which made me furious, he finally admitted he was not the manager on duty that night. His working hours ended earlier that day.

I told him I will report him, but that made him even angrier.

The man named Rahmat.

I dont think any hotel managers should act that rude towards any customers, particularly since it was not our fault.

We eventually cancelled the booking through the app, but it costs us about 24 days to get the refund. We has no problem with the third party app, whose staffer is very nice in answering our questions.

But the Rahmat guy and the hotel are unbelievably rude. Unaccepteble!
