To sum it up, hotel location with direct indoor link to Plaza Indonesia is simply fantastic! Access into the mall by the public is somewhat, unusually strict. It seems that there are uniformed guards and scanning machines at every entrances. The ones I saw only at malls in Jakarta and perhaps Manila.
The mall, has all sorts of local food from various parts of Indonesian, and good quality local produce such as Batek. It feels like a secure, safe place and not overly crowded.
At the hotel, service is there, and you'll get pretty much everything you need. But at these prices, you sort of expected the some level of courteous services, and you won't be disappointed. The room is suitably luxurious.
But other than that, the property looks rather old. The pool area and the eatery for breakfast seems like the spaces most in need of some sprucing up.
You also need to ensure that all communications in English to be doubly clear, as English isn't really Indonesia's second language. There can possibly be some degree of mis-communications. More
