Don't go here if you don't want to have your meal spiced with the smoke of everyone around you! Personally we hated that .. service is so-so, food is so-so ... Try other places first ...

Our group had a variety of seafood dishes here, grilled snapper, pepes Bali, and mixed seafood grill which all were very nice. Children had nasi goreng which was good too. Service was good, and prices very reasonable. There were Balinese dances when we visited, which the children in particular enjoyed, and live music after that.

We went the day we arrived. Great location with good views and a comfortable venue. We sat down and menu arrived straight away. Then we waited, waited and waited for our order to be taken. Plenty of staff but all with there backs to customers talking at the bar. We got up and walked out. Went next door and were served straight away. So we thought we would give them another go on a day when only about 6 people in the restaurant. Got the menu, waited again but finally placed our order. Food came out and was quite good and price was ok. Tried to order another drink but same story of staff with backs to customers standing at bar on mobiles and talking.

A bit of advice for the owner. You have a good restaurant but your staff need their bums kicked as they give very bad service.

We mainly went to this restaurant on Sunday to hear Iwan sing his songs (old standards). His melodious voice along with the great sounds of Agus on lead guitar was a great pleasure. It became a perfect environment to enjoy the seafood crepe and grilled fish (Bali style). The service and prices were good. It's often wise to choose food that is closer to the local cuisine. To find perfect pizzas and pasta dishes - go to Italy.
(iwan is well known in Lovina but desperately dreams for a new guitar! If you can oblige - please do).

Clean, hotel with quite rooms, central location with 5-7 min walk to the beach. Basic amenities but more than made up by good room layout and new construction. Breakfast is average with not too many choices for vegetarians. Access to the hotel can be a challenge due to frequent traffic jams. In the vicinity. Proximity to airport is major advantage if you have a flight at an odd hour. Would use it again if on a short visit with a tight schedule. Ubud is a better choice to stay in if on a leisurely vacation
