I can understand that this hotel is not for everyone but for me it was like staying in a little museum. Unfortunately, the spa is closed and I don't know if this is permanent. But I had 3 very restful nights there and the staff was very cheerful and helpful. The restaurant had delicious food. My only snafu was arriving and finding that my Priceline/Agoda reservation was not on file so they took me to another hotel for my first of 4 nights in Lhasa. Not sure where the fault lies with that but they took care of transferring my luggage back to the HofS.
