“Awesome fresh seafood but loud & rowdy. ”

Was treated by a Hong Kee family who lives in Marina Cove, just a stone’s throw away. Restaurant was crowded to the brim but waiters were efficient to get us a table & quickly orders were taken. Shockingly, food was served almost instantaneously, piping hot & delicious. ‘Lai liu har’ tasted so sweet & juicy. As usual in Hong Kong, the whole atmosphere in any restaurants is always very loud, boisterous & everyone needs to shout & yell instead of just talking unlike polite civilised diners in Japan, Taiwan & Singapore. Well, good to be exposed to different cultures & values.

If you go there on a Sunday you would see lots of activities ; there would be Sunday market selling all kinds of local produce, for example, organic vegetable.

In the vincity of Sai Kung Promenade, there is a small playground , perfect for kids. Also, the Geopark Visitor Centre where there is exhibit of volcanic rocks .

If that is not enough, you might want to take a boat ride to nearby island such as the Sharp Island. Boat ride cost HK$60

There are lots of eateries in the vincity too, most noticeably is a row of seafood restaurants.

overall, it is quite nice to hang out there for a few hours

On the far end of the prom, near the swimming pool, there is a flea market that opens on weekends. All sorts of handmade things on offer at novelty prices.

Good for stroll after lunch.
