For those who need an accessible toilet, don't go to this hotel. There's no accessible toilet in this hotel's common area. The staff said there is only one in their shopping mall at basement but no lift is available. They tell you to go outside of their hotel, go down to their basement using the lift provided by the mtr. This is not the end of the story. The accessible toilet is locked. It can only be 'accessible' with the keys kepy by their staff. I don't think this hotel welcome any guests with special needs. You may go if you think you are a 'normal' person.

We chose The Kowloon Hotel primarily because of its location. Transportwise, it's just a short walk to & from the airport bus stop (A21), and has convenient access to the MTR station. It's also surrounded by shops & restaurants, including the Mirador Mansion which houses the sought-after Jenny Bakery. Malls are also just walking distance, same with some tourist attractions. It's next door to The Peninsula, as well, & very convenient to tour buses' stops/boarding points including the Crystal Bus.

Breakfast buffet was also good and price was reasonable. The room was comfortable, too, clean, & although quite small, space was enough for me & my husband, including our 2 large suitcases.

The hotel's staff were also nice & helpful.
Didn't regret staying here. Should we decide to visit HK & stay in Tsim Sha Tsui again, might consider booking here once more.

First room given unacceptable as view of kitchen roof and all air conditioning pipes on 4th floor.
Asked to change, no problem, still on 4th floor but with outside views and bigger room (410).
Breakfast has large selection but whatever we chose , was cold, even the coffee. Also air con freezing as is the foyer.
Our flights at midnight, out of room by 11am but nowhere to sit. 2 sofa sets in freezing foyer as door held open most of the time.
Hotel in good location opposite Peninsular Hotel on Nathan Road.
No good for long stay, wardrobe in room only 15” wide and no shelves, no iron or board.
Bathroom fine, shower good and water hot.

Room tip: Busy all the time with queues at reception. Would not recommend hotel.

I have always wanted to try this hotel over the years due to the great location. I stayed in a suite on the top floor with a lovely view - that was the best part. The room was large but extremely old and dated as if no renovations have been done to any part of the hotel since the 1980s - this includes the carpet etc…

I was initially allocated a room that reeked of cigarette smoke, and after complaining as I’d asked for a smoke free room, subsequently moved. Reception and lift areas are chaotic and floors are not key accessible i.e. any member of the public can gain access to any floor… the whole place felt unsafe.

Good location if you want to be in that area… but the hotel itself feels extremely old / used.

This hotel wasn't my first choice for my HK trip but I saw the prime location and was sold at that. For the price, the location was simply amazing. It's in TST area, with MTR exit just in front of the hotel, walking distance to several tourist attractions including Avenue of Stars, K11 Musea, HKMOA, Harbour City, and Star Ferry Pier. Many eateries nearby and some of them even open 24hrs. There's also a souvenir shop in the area so if you have no time to visit the markets, you can still get affordable HK souvenirs. The room itself was decent, space and hygiene wise. It was also equipped with a microwave. The hotel accommodated my request to have a room facing the street instead, which is great. The staff were very polite. Overall, I enjoyed my stay a lot.

The best thing about this hotel is its great location with the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade almost just down the road. The room itself is just OK. But i was actially too occupied with my sightseeing and actually only spent a couple of hours in my room. The breakfast buffet was simply amazing and was actually one of the best ever that i have experienced so far during my travels abroad✌✌✌
