Our first meal in HK. We arrived this morning and have not had anything to eat all day. We are tired so did not want to go far and the choice was between Sing Yin( we are staying at the W) and another popular Chinese restaurant in the mall. We are so glad we chose this one because the food was just perfect and the service just as good. We shared (2 people) a dim sum starter than had one noodle dish with chicken and a great sautéed prawn dish all very tasty and light. We even had a small space for dessert do we tried the sesame egg custard balls, which were absolutely delicious, we hear the restaurant’s dim sum is very good do we might be back!

Tonight my friends and I had a nice Chinese dining here. What impressed me was the service, a girl guided us to our table call Ravi, she kept smiling all the time and very polite.
We also felt very satisfied of the food, especially the fired rice with scallop and black truffle.
Chief came out to each table to greet and ask for the comments of the food. He was friendly. This is good for a restaurant to be better and better.
Thanks for Roger and Ka Fai, their recommendations of the food was fantastic. We all like it !
Definitely will come again.

Stayed at the W and popped by for dinner

Good service, they offered something for me to read since i was alone. And most of them introduced themselves by name. Impressive

Always tough as a solo diner in a chinese restaurant, but they have some "per person" dishes. Had some of their chef specials: crab claw, fish maw & conch soup, roast goose. All very good. The only miss was that i requested for the goose to be half portion and the waiter said standard is fine. It turned out to be too much

And 20% discount for hotel guests!

let me admit first that i am not a fan of chinese food
as i invited a chinese banker and his wife , i wanted to spoil them with what they like
so i opted for the chinese place at the W hotel
first impression at the entrance , very nice place

we were brought to a nice table semi private
as usual with chinese we ordered to share big surprise , i loved it
first arrival of the dishes , they were gorgeous , very well presented
and then the taste was a revelation ,
the service was excellent and answering to all our desires and expectations
i was told that they are working very hard to get a michelin star , i believe they deserve it
my advise , come quickly beofre they get their star and raise their prices
