Kowloon Park had lots of open space to walk, jog and play.
However, a few sections of the park, including part of the aviary, had been taped off due to a number of fallen trees or damaged infrastructures. Not much birds to see either.

An escape to be surrounded by nature and the outdoors. A convenient office lunch break to enjoy some sunshine and a.breathe of fresh air. An easy walk across the park from Canton Road and Nathan Road.

We visited this park at night and it was very nice to see all the trees and plants. I thing the bird cages and area was closed. The main thing that was open was the Swimming pool area. Not much going on.

Kowloon park is a mix of several recreational areas together. There is an area with comic stars statues, swimming pool, outdoor praying area, kung-fu corner and a mosque. Overall it is a nice green relaxing area in the densely packed city.

If you are in the area, this is a nice park to have a wander in. We visited on a fine Sunday and there were many families sitting around on mats in any patch of shade. The aviary is interesting, but hard to photograph the birds due to the netting.
Some interesting characters at one end, not sure if this was a permanent or temporary display.
