I stayed at the Wifi Hotel after reading about it on TripAdvisor, knowing I was only in HK for one night and would barely be at hotel.
The experience was about what I expected - very basic service and a small room, but still reasonable value for money. The location is somewhat odd, in amongst a lot of shops for building products (tiles, kitchens, bathrooms etc) and not much else. As others have noted, it's also very easy to miss the entrance to the hotel as it is so small.
I found the bed quite hard, but I still slept okay, at least partly thanks to the Mandarin Oriental spa shortly beforehand! The room was mostly clean, although the shower looked "not new" in the tile grout, without being actually dirty. Also there was a single hair and some black specks of something (dirt?) in the sink; not really too bad, but it made me a bit sceptical about the quality of the cleaning generally. Also, the toilet took a really long time to refill, so it wasn't possible to flush more than once in ~30 minutes.
I was charged HK$500 additional deposit at checkin, and there was an inspection of the room carried out before I was allowed to leave, which I haven't experienced before. I guess at this price my service expectations were already low, so I put up with it. On the bright side, the lady at the reception was mildly helpful with advice for getting to the airport very early in the morning.More
