As the evenings are getting warmer - I am always on the lookout for outdoor dining & Sai Kung offers a variety. This place is on the main square & looked appealing so we took a table outside. The service is nice & friendly & you can see there is some attempt with the presentation, but we were hoping for a little more somehow. I did like the IPA on tap. The wine was reasonable price but very average quality. We had a red wine sharing platter - which again ok. A couple of pieces of the salami were a little off - which my wife suggested we return, but they were gone by the time I tasted them & agreed with her. They should never really have been sent out. We had a few other of the smaller plates - Tuna Ceviche was presented well with smoke effect in a glass - but the taste was not really there. The prawns, white fish in sauce & pork belly all reasonable. It was all ok - but we were just hoping for more & may try again for some of the other dishes at some point.

We were a party of 9 and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, even some the more fussy teenagers. There were a couple of service hiccups, but only minor. Overall a good experience.

In the tapas, the garlic shrimp, beef tenderloin are off the charts, the snapper and the lamb cutlets are pretty good, while the hummus and the peri peri chicken are just about okay.

Tried the key lime pie for dessert, which was very good - not too sweet and great crust.

This is a lovely little place to eat in the main square in Sai Kung. If the weather is nice enough you can sit outside, warmed by the outdoor heaters that take the chill off the air when it gets cool. Nice ambience, good service and a fusion of Spanish and Italisan dishes makes this a nice place to eat. The small plates are small so, like Tapas, the price can mount up. The sharing platter of meats, hummous and other bits looked good. The pizzas were also large and tasty. I found the wine a bit on the sweet side of medium of medium however that's a minor point. I'd go back again when I visit the family.

We live in the area and The Conservatory has become a regular dinner venue. Service is always with a smile and we love the menu. Risotto balls and potato wedges are always part of our order and we've got great things to say about every other dish for we have tried them all! The banoffie pie rounds off dinner perfectly; it's a good thing we have to walk up a very steep hill to get home, to burn a few calories. You have to be very thirsty to order a gin; the glasses are HUGE!
