Quite a beautifully painted and decorated covered corridor within the grounds of the Summer Palace. We walked along part of it and then also alongside it. The architecture is very interesting. The artworks painted along its length are all of totally different scenes. It is interesting to reflect on the Chinese nobility that would have walked down its length way back in history. Our private guide explained the significance of this site, which helped us to appreciate it better.
