Quite a beautifully painted and decorated covered corridor within the grounds of the Summer Palace. We walked along part of it and then also alongside it. The architecture is very interesting. The artworks painted along its length are all of totally different scenes. It is interesting to reflect on the Chinese nobility that would have walked down its length way back in history. Our private guide explained the significance of this site, which helped us to appreciate it better.

The Long Corridor is within the Summer Palace. It is long and very beautiful. Don't forget to look up also. The art work is beautifully painted. Take you time here.

The long corridor is inside the summer palace, it’s a covered walkway about three quarter kilometer long, good decorations along the way. Good place just to walk slowly while enjoying the scenery and the lakes.

It is a long corridor which is located in the summer palace close to a lake. It has been maden by wood and has been painted nicely. The paintings are mostly about nature with many colors.

The Long Corridor Lives up to its name. Beautifully painted and a great view of the lake. Definitely take the hike up to the top of the temple. The marble boat at the end is worth it. It’s also the exit.
