Go at opening time and you will get a heaven experience!
Amazing views from the top. Old people doing tai chi with peaceful expression on their faces. Gardens with amazing peonies! Marvellous!!

The park is located right at the northern end of the Forbidden City and offers a nice addition and us a lot more quiet than the former Palace. There is a little mountain from where you can get a lovely birds view of the Forbidden City and the rest of the area.

A nice green oasis in the middle of Beijing. Cheap to enter, and very relaxing. The temple overlooks the forbidden city and you can get a view of Beijing from 360 degrees.

Birds eye view of the surrounding area. Great place to come and enjoy a relaxing walk around the park and temple. Not crowded at all.

Walk through Jingshan Park (recommended between 13:00 and 15:00) - After lunch, head to Jingshan Park (in Chinese: 景山 园园) and stroll along the park paths with its beautiful flower gardens along with the children. If the kids want to take some energy, let them run wild on the wide lawns of the park and of course climb with them to the top of the "Coal Hill". From the top of the hill you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Forbidden City.
