“Nice, hearty and relaxing place where to stay in Lamu”

We just came back from two beautiful weeks in Lamu, where we stayed at Seafront Guesthouse and I couldn’t recommend it more!
The room is basic, but good money for value; it has a comfortable bed with fan and mosquito net, a fridge and a basic bathroom. The small, indeed hidden garden is a quiet place where to chill out and enjoy some shadow.
The guesthouse is in a perfect location, right behind the seafront and in the middle of the Town. The Seafront Café, where you are going to have breakfast every morning, is a nice and relaxing place where to sit and watch the morning life of Lamu going by (and the food is delicious, especially the amazing jumbo prawns!). Kirsty and Mia, the guesthouse’s owners, as well as the rest of the crew are beautiful, kind and very helpful people. Kirsty helped us out with bus reservations from Mombasa to Lamu before we arrived and even got an Internet dongle for me so that I was sure to have one upon arrival. We really felt at home and had a great time and if you are travelling on a moderate budget but still want to have a pleasant place where to stay during your stay in the beautiful town of Lamu, Miji Room is definitely for you!
