Owner description: The karnak temple is one the distinguished identifying marks of Luxor in Egypt, where each of consecutive kings tried to make his temple most magnificent so as to be so distinguished than his predecessor, so the Karnak temples changed to a complete guide and collection showing the development stages of ancient Egyptian art and distinguished pharaonic architecture.

Fascinating temple complex with sacred lake. Although much is in ruins what remains is very impressive and allows you to easily imagine the majesty of ancient Egypt. Nice to go in the late afternoon and see the temple as the sun sets and the evening lights come on. Do not miss the avenue of sphinxes that used to link Karnak to Luxor temple. A must see!

Not for the non native English speakers. English was so hard that I could not understand anything there. But yes presentation was quite good.

You need a lot of time if you want to "inhale" all the history of this place.
We were lucky enough to have a tour guide and there is so much history in the place ...
Colours, remains, pillars, drawings from ancient times, history engraved in limestone. It is a fairy tail, that must be experienced and of course the wishing pillar!

Do not forget to go around it 7 times so your wish can come true!

This is by far one of the most amazing places I have ever seen! Its sheer magnitude will take your breath away. Spent 4 hours, could have spent 4 days.
