Been meaning to go here for a while so made it at last.
The cafe is situated up a flight of stairs overlooking Luxor Temple and the mosque.
On first entering I wasn't really over impressed. Display cabinet had a very small selection of just 3 cakes and whilst the area wasn't dirty it did look 'dull'.
We however decided we were there so looked for a table. Went onto the balcony terrace and had no problem finding one. Member of staff came with menus and was friendly enough. Had to go inside again as the menu didn't correspond with what we had saw cake wise on first entering.
Ordered with the staff then say back at the table and waited....and waited.....and waited. Order eventually came with no explanation why 3 coffees and 2 pieces of cake could take so long.
Cafe Latte needs to up it's game as now Aboudi is there the competition is fierce.
Such a shame that my first visit wasn't favourable as I had heard good things about it.
