Giza pyramid is overated for sure in comparison to the bent pyramid! Here you pay less than Giza and you get the most out of the rest! To us, the journey to the tomb was our highlight moment. At first, it was abit of hiking up the stairs, and when you reach the entrance, it only goes DOWN and down. You might feel abit claustrophobic but I can assure you that it was definitely worth every penny! This area has practically no tourist buses, and camel man chasing after you for rides! We were at peace with the desert and the pyramids! I have nothing but positive feedback about this beautiful place. HIDDEN GEM and absolutely breathtaking! One thing though, there s a strong ammonia smell inside the pyramids, but that is to prevent snakes from crawling in. (Thats what our driver said) enjoy!!!

The evolution of pyramids from the step to the bent to the red and great. The Red being the third largest pyramid. Bent pyramid bottom angle 54 degrees, too steep, top 43 degrees same as Red pyramid, too shallow. Great pyramid 51.5 degrees, just right!

The Dahshur pyramids was an extremely important experience for the Egyptians for building future structures. It provided them with the knowledge and know-how to transition from step-sided pyramids to smooth-sided pyramids. Ultimately this experience led them to learn how to build the Great Pyramid of Giza

This pyramid is the key to all others. Well preserved and interesting. Far from crowds and vendors. A delight...
